The Fair Board received the old John Jacob Astor Experiment Station in Clatsop County with a $1.995 million bond measure and revenue from the sale of the old site. Accrued timber revenues paid off the bonds, and taxpayers did not have to contribute. The fairground opened at the present location and has hosted various events.

CTA recently launched the conneCTing England and Regional Programme, which shows the potential of these forums to improve community transport services and promote collaboration between operators and stakeholders in England. Our goal is to strengthen the voice of CT operators and influence national policies. We aim to include key stakeholders such as local transport authorities, NHS England, DfT, subnational transport bodies, and influencers to listen to CT operators and take actions that support and invest in community transport. The forum is open to all Community Transport providers, charities, non-profit organizations, and stakeholders interested in community and accessible transport in England.

The Christian Congregational Music Conference seeks to bring together world-class scholars and practitioners to explore together the varying cultural, social, and spiritual roles church music plays in the life of various Christian communities around the world. In our 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 conferences, we welcomed scholars from 18 countries on all 6 continents.
