The Conference will take place from 27 August until 02 September 2023 in Velden, Austria. The first World Conference was organized in Switzerland in 1965. This proved to be an inspiration to form national IFYE committees in several European countries. The first programs that involved Eastern European countries took place in 1992 between Finland and Estonia and Luxembourg and Estonia. These programs were followed by programs involving Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary in 1993 and 1994. Earlier Poland and former Czechoslovakia had been involved in the program.
Welcome to the homepage of the Single Molecule Localization Microscopy Symposium! This edition of SMLMS aims to bring together scientists in the field of single-molecule localization microscopy and super-resolution imaging technologies, covering topics such as new imaging methods, fluorescent probes, labeling strategies, biological applications, and data analysis approaches. Vienna has a vibrant imaging community and is a pleasant destination to visit. The Scientific Committee includes Mike Heilemann from Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, Helge Ewers from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, Aleksandra Radenovic and Suliana Manley from EPFL, Switzerland.

The "International Workshop on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells" and the "Summer School on PEFC & H2" are jointly organized at Graz University of Technology. Participants can discuss current developments in the IEA Implementing Agreement Advanced Fuel Cells in a relaxed environment. The event will be opened by Prof. Nidetzky and Prof. Hacker. Prof. Etzold will present a new process that speeds up the transition from material development to fuel cell development, and Prof. Ha will present an innovative process for hydrogen production. The poster session will allow students to discuss their ongoing work, and the get-together provides an opportunity to strengthen professional and personal networks.

The Expanded Animation Symposium, organized by Hagenberg Campus and Ars Electronica, will be held as part of the Ars Electronica Festival. It has grown from a one-day event to a three-day affair with multiple tracks and exhibitions. The symposium will continue in a physical venue and speakers will be announced soon. The symposium includes seven distinct tracks: the Prix Forum, Artist Position, Art & Industry, Performative Acts, Virtual Stages, Synaesthetic Syntax conference, and the ASIFA Austria Forum.

GSVF encompasses the transformation of vehicle development driven by disruptive changes in the era of digitalization. Ensuring that complex systems and highly interacting vehicle functions work as expected requires extensive validation efforts. Virtual validation is increasing and plays a dominant role in system development and homologation. Digital Twinning enables Software-defined Systems but requires effective handling and approval of development artifacts. GSVF serves as a platform to discuss challenges and strengths of recent advances in virtual-enriched system development and operation. The industry is shifting from vertical to horizontal vehicle system development approaches. The conference language is English, presentations can be given in English or German, but all submissions and slides should be in English.
Communicating the Future of Man-Made Fibers"The Man-Made Fibers Congress, organized by the Austrian Man-made Fibers Institute, will be held in Dornbirn, Austria. It will cover downstream manufacturing and networking, showcasing the latest industry innovations.
