An article from the mentioned journals can be included in associate professorship applications as per the resolution of the Turkish Higher Education Council. Each oral session will have one Best Session Paper, and a Certificate for Session Best Papers will be awarded after each session.

Hans Bruyninckx, who served as the head of the European Environment Agency for a decade, will now become an honorary professor at the University of Antwerp. His academic focus is on European and international environmental policy, with a particular interest in the impact of globalization on global environmental governance and sustainable development. He has also conducted research on global production and consumption systems, as well as issues of distribution and justice. Bruyninckx has taught courses on global environmental politics and governance in relation to the European Union, and has published extensively on EU environmental policies and its role in global environmental governance.

The CLARIN Annual Conference is the main annual event for those working on the construction and operation of CLARIN across Europe, as well as for representatives of the communities of use in the humanities, and social sciences.

The two-day conference organized by Ashoka University, in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur and The Australian National University, aims to discuss river island narratives, encourage conversations between researchers, and produce a special issue on river islands in a peer-reviewed journal. Session themes include decoloniality, place-making, infrastructure, disaster vulnerability, shifting identities, and island relations. Abstract submission deadline is July 25.
