The annual conference of the Anglo-Catalan Society, LXVIII edition, will take place at the Universitat de les Illes Balears, Palma. The University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) is a renowned public university founded in 1978, with strong regional ties and a commitment to society. It is part of the Vives Network of Universities, consisting of 22 Catalan-speaking universities. The conference is hosted by the research group LiCETC (Department of Catalan Studies) and the Vice Chancellorship of Cultural Projection and Open University.
