Promoting organisational effectiveness"Child Centered Disaster Risk Reduction (CCDRR) empowers children to become activists and mobilize their communities to achieve resilience in times of disaster. It complements national action plans for children by empowering children and the community as a whole. This training aims to put children at the center of the Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) process, allowing them to actively participate in risk reduction. The course objectives include identifying Child Centered Community Development (CCCD), understanding the relationship between Development and Disasters, and understanding CBDRR and its alignment with CCCD.

Transforming People and Organizations Since 2003"This IRES course will introduce participants to the field of Communication for Development (C4D). C4D is an evidence-based process that utilizes a mix of communication tools, channels and approaches to facilitate participation and engagement with children, families, communities, and networks for positive social and behavior change in both development and humanitarian contexts. It draws on learnings and concepts from the social, behavioral and communication sciences. Communication technologies and approaches have evolved rapidly in the past decade and new opportunities for engaging people in social change processes have opened up.
