The iStar'23 workshop builds on previous successful workshops held in various locations worldwide. This year's 16th edition will be held alongside the 31st Requirements Engineering Conference.

Join us for a lecture on heating water treatment based on VDI guideline 2035-2. This guideline is crucial for heating engineers when setting up or renovating systems. In Berlin and Brandenburg, there are various archives, museums, and collections that preserve architectural history sources like files, drawings, models, photos, and correspondence. These are evaluated, indexed, and maintained by different institutions in the region. The need for coordinated and sustainable collection is growing due to limited resources and environmental concerns. The assessment of takeover bids and the destruction of unnecessary sources will be done more critically in the future.

You are invited to the PRÄSENZ meeting of the VDI industrial engineers in Westphalia, led by Dr. Andreas Wolff and Dipl.-Ing. Andrzej Kurpik. The meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Marl. Regular meetings are organized in six VDI regional groups at major chemical sites in Germany, providing valuable opportunities for exchange and further training. All production engineers are welcome to attend, and participation is free. Additionally, participants in the regional meetings can avail a 3-month free VDI membership, courtesy of the VDI.

A RheinCleanup and a RuhrCleanup are scheduled to happen. The campaign aims to remove rubbish from the riverbanks to prevent it from flowing into the sea. Volunteers are needed to help organize participation.

The "Big Experimentation Day" for children and young people will be held at Flörsheim town hall. Companies from the region will provide exciting experiments for all to enjoy. Admission is free.
