Dr. Joseph Ibrahim, a distinguished professor and director of graduate studies in the Department of Biostatistics at UNC, also serves as the director of the Biostatistics Core at UNC's Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is the biostatistical core leader for the NIH-funded Breast Cancer SPORE project. His research interests include Bayesian inference, missing data problems, medical imaging analysis, and genomics. With over 30 years of experience in cancer clinical trials, he directs the UNC Center for Innovative Clinical Trials. Dr. Ibrahim has authored over 360 research papers, two advanced graduate-level books, and currently serves as the associate editor for Bayesian Analysis.
