The organisers of The London International Horse Show would like to thank everyone who supported us at the 2010 show. Thank you to all our visitors, exhibitors and stewards. It was a great success and we are already looking forward to 2011. Olympia is a fantastic Equestrian Christmas Party and is host to the UK’s only Show Jumping and Dressage FEI World Cup™ Qualifiers. It also has outstanding Equestrian Displays; the 2012 displays are to be confirmed but 2011 saw the return of Lorenzo The Flying Frenchman and The Lusitano Ride from Portugal. There is a great Shopping Village and a magical Christmas Finale.
The SIGB (Snowsport Industries of Great Britain) is pleased to announce the new venue and dates for Slide 2011. For 2011 Slide returns to February, opening ten days after ispo the international trade show. Slide will therefore take place from 21-23 February 2011 (Monday to Wednesday). After many years in Manchester, the show is also moving location, to the very modern International Centre at Telford. Damon Street, president of SIGB commented, “The International Centre is a fantastic facility with a great deal to offer. Geographically it’s really well placed to service our national tradeshow, being easily accessed by road or public transport. The added benefits of free parking and on-site hotel packages make it easy to visit and show at what I expect to be the most successful show for several years.” Show organiser, Lesley Beck added, “It’s exciting to move to a new venue after so many years in Manchester and I am confident that both exhibitors and retailers will enjoy the benefits of the new location”.
