The Association is to promote scientific research, technical development and training in the field of gastroenterology to promote and coordinate communication and to be provided through regular meetings of the widest possible circle of doctors. This includes the organization of courses that teach technical skills (including endoscopy, ultrasound). The company is to provide an interdisciplinary discussion between the groups which deal with the detection and cure of digestive diseases. These include internists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, biochemists, pharmacologists and biomedical technicians.
