Prof Chu is a senior professor and Dean of Research and Sponsored Projects at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, India. He is also an editor and associate editor for various journals. He holds positions at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and is currently the President of the Geotechnical Society of Singapore. He has served on several ISSMGE technical committees.
