The course "From Policy to Practice of Disaster and Emergency Management Planning" analyzes planning theories and research to establish criteria for best practices and develop plans for mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. It is designed for senior-level executives and experienced leaders responsible for these plans. Participants come from a variety of medium to large organizations and attend to learn about best practices in disaster and emergency management planning. Payment for the CPSPD Emergency Management program is required upon acceptance into the program, with a 30-day payment window for invoice receipt. If admission is within 30 days of the program start date, payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
