Malene Freudendal-Pedersen is an Urban Planning Professor at Aalborg University with a background in sociology, geography, urban planning and the sociology of technology. She researches the impacts of mobility practices on society, co-founded the Journal Applied Mobilities and the Book-series Networked Urban Mobilities, and authored Making Mobilities Matter which critiques technocratic views in transport politics and research.
