The Honiton & District Agricultural Association – "Where Farming Comes First" The show is annually held on the first Thursday in August and has grown to be one of the largest one day agricultural shows in the country. The show is held in the heart of the East Devon Countryside on a 140 acre site which was purchased by the Honiton & District Agricultural Association in 2003. The show has a unique atmosphere blending traditional and new where its emphasis is agriculture and its associated activities first and foremost. It is a showcase for the best of local farming, produce, crafts and rural skills. The Association has a membership of over 500, is a company limited by guarantee and is a registered charity, which makes donations yearly to a wide range of local, agricultural and educational causes. The aim of the Association is to promote agriculture and related industries, specifically by the staging of its annual show. Each year an official charity is nominated by the elected President in office and is given the opportunity to raise funds during the show.

The Show is a fantastic family day out where you can meet friends, both old and new, in a stunning setting. The showground is filled with activities for everyone, including livestock competitions for cattle, sheep, and pigs, as well as the highly anticipated Shearing competition. The Horse area also offers a variety of classes for different equine disciplines such as dressage and British Show Jumping. Don't miss the chance to see rare breed poultry, alpacas, majestic heavy horses, Giant Aldabra Tortoises, and enjoy craft demonstrations at Amerton Arts Studio. There are also fly-casting demonstrations, vintage tractors, stationary engines, and much more to explore.

To reach the show near Thirsk, ignore the Thimbleby sign on A19 and take the left turn to Osmotherley. Turn left again at the T-junction, go under the bridge and follow the Thirsk A19 sign for 1 mile. Take the left turn to Thimbleby and follow the road to the show.

"International Flower & Garden Show"The Shrewsbury Flower Show is a top flower show event in the country, with exhibitors from all over. Over 100 volunteers and a small staff manage the entire event, including contracts, safety, entertainment, and judges. The goal is to provide an unforgettable experience for visitors.

The show ground is located near Chipping village in the Forest of Bowland AONB. It features a Dog Show, Sheep Racing, and traditional animal classes. Easy access from Longridge and Clitheroe directions via motorway exits J31a and J32.
