By integrating contingency planning and business continuity planning into organizational processes, standardized tools can be established to enhance multi-hazard emergency preparedness. This involves ensuring that individuals and organizations are equipped with the necessary knowledge, systems, and tools to respond promptly and effectively to disasters. The training aims to improve understanding of contingency planning, including the development of practical, results-oriented, participatory, and realistic plans supported by preparedness actions.
