The IRMMW-THz Society promotes global sharing of scientific and technical knowledge in infrared, millimeter, and terahertz waves. The International Conference on IRMMW-THz is the oldest and largest continuous forum dedicated to ultra high frequency electronics and applications. The Society of Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves is a non-profit organization that aims to facilitate global collection, dissemination, and exchange of knowledge in these fields. The Terahertz or Far-Infrared range is considered the last scientific gap in the electromagnetic spectrum, between optical and radio wavelengths. The International Organizing Committee (IOC) is comprised of distinguished scientists and technologists elected to serve a six-year term.
