The traditional separation between architecture and historic preservation, focusing on new and old buildings respectively, is evolving. This colloquium explores contemporary approaches to the built environment, including experimental interventions and innovative reuse of existing structures. We aim to discuss the concept of architectural citation and seek new theoretical and operational approaches to challenge conventional practices in dealing with heritage.
