London's Alexandra Palace hosts the Royal Yachting Association's (RYA) Dinghy Sailing Show, an impressive showcase of over 200 exhibitors, including over 100 different classes of dinghy. There are also talks by well-known sailors and some of the finest dinghy sailing equipment in the world. As well as plenty of vessels to view, there is a full programme of live entertainment and demonstrations, providing sailors with the latest information, gear and technology. CTA recently launched the conneCTing England and Regional Programme, which shows the potential of these forums to improve community transport services and promote collaboration between operators and stakeholders in England. Our goal is to strengthen the voice of CT operators and influence national policies. We aim to include key stakeholders such as local transport authorities, NHS England, DfT, subnational transport bodies, and influencers to listen to CT operators and take actions that support and invest in community transport. The forum is open to all Community Transport providers, charities, non-profit organizations, and stakeholders interested in community and accessible transport in England.

The Forum will address these themes again at LISW 2023, taking into account a changing world with geopolitical tensions, economic challenges, sanctions, shifting trade patterns, and increasing environmental regulations. At LISW 2023, the Transparency in Shipping and Bunkering Forum will unveil an ESG index specifically for shipping, developed through three years of independent academic research and collaboration with shipping ESG experts, aiming to harmonize reporting mechanisms and enhance transparency.
