The STB – the leading trade fair for the German meetings industry – is Germany’s key marketplace for event and business travel services. Suppliers can exhibit at these fairs and come into contact with the important decision makers – the visitors of the STB. These decision makers are responsible for generating a substantial part of the event and business travel business in the German meetings market. The decentralized concept of the STB, with fairs taking place alternately in the main industrial cities in Germany, guarantees the exhibitors valuable and interesting local contacts in the shortest period of time and so forms the ideal platform for the presentation of products and services. The combination of trade exhibition and networking events allows direct and personal contact between “suppliers and buyers” in a lively yet relaxed atmosphere.

The Australasian Philatelic Traders' Association organises shows for the benefit of the noble hobby of philately around Australia. Many members of the Australasian Philatelic Traders Association (APTA) will be at the Show, shown below in random order. The basic structure of Show consists of a set of actions needed to plan, organise, run and wind up a national philatelic exhibition.   The actions are arranged in groups and subgroups and are approximately in the right order to allow an exhibition Organising Committee to step through each of the actions to ensure that nothing is forgotten.  It uses Microsoft Access as well as Word and Excel for some of its functions.
