This course is designed for professionals in flood disaster risk management, including decision-makers, development authorities, urban planners, water engineers, and flood control professionals.

Customized training courses for institutions are available for a minimum of 4 participants. The training can be held at our center or a convenient location. The Sendai Framework focuses on preventing and reducing disaster risk. It was adopted in March 2015 at a UN conference in Sendai, Japan. The course is suitable for government officials, disaster management professionals, funding agency workers, and those in research and non-government organizations. The training includes presentations, practical exercises, online tutorials, and group work. A certificate from the Indepth Research Institute (IRES), certified by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), will be awarded upon completion.
