The Global Mental Well-being & Substance (Mis)Use Conference: GMWS 2023 is an international meeting whose objective is to provide a platform for service providers, experts, policymakers, and affected individuals to share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on mental health and substance misuse. The conference theme this year is "Rest, Recovery, and Resilience During and Beyond Pandemics."The Conference will take place on Friday - Sunday, August 11-13, at the University of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada starting at 9.30amThe event is organized by a registered Canadian not-for-profit agency – New African Canadians (NAC). Established in 2018 and incorporated in November 2020, NAC provides mental health, immigration and settlement support to individuals and communities in Canada.
The GPC Conference unites participants from across Canada for two days of expert panels and breakout sessions on current corporate governance issues. Governance Voice is the official podcast of Governance Professionals of Canada, offering critical insights, news, and discussions on governance with industry experts.
Abstracts are being accepted for oral and poster presentations for CANNT-ACITN 2023. Submissions should incorporate the conference theme and cover topics like clinical research, innovative projects, ethics, case presentations, and clinical reviews. Presenters are encouraged to showcase innovative and creative thinking in their presentations.
