The importance of effective communication in the workplace is often overlooked. This workshop is designed for faculty and staff who want to improve their communication skills and learn practical tools and techniques to enhance their effectiveness. Participants will explore different components that impact communication and have the opportunity to assess their own communication behaviors. They will also create a plan of action for improving communication in both personal and professional settings. The workshop includes hands-on practice with the tools and techniques introduced.
Come to First Presbyterian Church in CULLMAN for an art class on the wet-on-wet oil painting technique. No experience needed. Take home a finished painting. Class fee is $55, materials included except for canvas. Students must bring an 11x14 inch canvas. Class starts at 9:30 am, adults and students 16 and above allowed. Younger students allowed with a parent who is also painting. Register online or by phone.
