Ballet Summer Intensive provides exceptional training with renowned faculty from Ballet West Academy, Ballet West Artistic Staff, Ballet West dancers, and popular guest teachers from both in and out of the state.

Hyoung Nam Kim is the on-site organization Chief and Kyung Eun Shim is the Coordinator of the Korean Society of Dance Studies (KSDS). The KSDS focuses on contemporary research topics and promotes academic growth through interdisciplinary collaboration. The society publishes academic journals and hosts conferences to encourage dance research. Some of the papers presented include an analysis of the NA Phat Dance in Thai Theatre and Dance, research on contextual information for Maggie Patton's work, and an investigation on the impact of movement literacy on classical dance sequences.
Lakeside Kids offers free and diverse programming for children ages 4 and up, covering science, culture, and arts and entertainment. Supported by Dane County Arts and additional funds from Endres Mfg Company Foundation and The Evjue Foundation, Inc. DanzTrad is a safe and fun Madison dance group promoting Mexican culture and art through dance.
This is a free program at SHSU's Huntsville campus, funded by the NSA. It offers 60 hours of speaking classes and 30 hours of cultural immersion activities for grades 9-16. Participants can also earn free college credits. Activities include percussion music, Dabka dancing, cooking, costumes, games, conversation with native speakers, calligraphy art, henna body art, and a field trip.
