To address climate change, more aggressive actions are needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the increasing vulnerability worldwide. This training program examines the connection between local sustainability, development challenges, and climate change at regional and global levels. It is important to recognize that responding to climate change is a new aspect of sustainable community development, alongside other local priorities like poverty reduction, sanitation improvement, access to clean water, healthcare, and ecological resilience.
